Paternoster, the quaint seaside fishing village on the Cape’s West Coast, was the venue for my birthday weekend. Just 2 hours north of Cape Town, it made for a relaxing getaway and was picture perfect. Here are a few photos from the weekend.
Crayfish is a popular West Coast delicacy. Although not technically in Paternoster, we made a stop at Strandloper in Langebaan, for a ten-course seafood experience with a splendid view of the bay. Crayfish was one of the items on the menu, prepared simply on the braai with garlic butter.
